The Sanguine Creek Estates crypt has been on the grounds as long as settlers have lived in the region. Built as a chapel by the first settlers, it was later converted into the crypt we see today to accommodate those who perished while the Estate served as a hospital during the war of 1812.

If you're patient, on a clear fall night, you can still hear the ghosts of the crypt's inhabitants telling the stories of how they lived and died along the Sanguine Creek.

The SCE Crypt is a multimedia experience that tells the backstory of Sanguine Creek Estates through the stories of those who lived there.
It runs continuously every Friday and Saturday night starting October 3 until November 2, 2025 from Sunset until 9 PM.
Guests are welcome to come explore the grounds, listen to the stories and hunt for ghosts using their mobile phones.
