The Sanguine Creek Estate is located in Chesapeake Beach, MD. Our address will be published one week before opening.
Admission to the Sanguine Creek Estates is free! We ask that you bring a donation of non-perishable food for the Southern Maryland Food Bank.
The Crypt runs every Friday and Saturday in October from Dusk (sunset) until 9 PM and Halloween Dusk-10 PM.
The Asylum will be open October 30 and 31 from 6:30 PM - 9 PM each day.
The Asylum will not be open on Halloween so we can trick or treat too!
Sanguine Creek Estates is a home-based haunted house, which means it is built and operated by private Halloween enthusiasts on our own property. We pitch in our time, money, sweat and tears to make memories for every guest that comes through our halls. As it is built on our propery, we ask that you respect our neighbors by not blocking driveways.
All of our staff members are fully vaccinated. We have hand sanitizer available for guests and encourage mask wearing. The asylum is sprayed down periodically with a bleach solution to kill germs and all the attractions are outside to maximize airflow.
We strive to put on a haunt that is appropriate for trick-or-treaters and Halloween enthusiasts of all ages. Most of our scares lean toward jumps and creeps. There is minimal gore. Only you can know how your child will react to a stressful/scary situation so we are reluctant to state an age. Please use your best judgment.
The Asylum haunted house consists of approximatly 2000 square feet and should take about 10-15 minutes to pass through. The presentation at the Crypt is approximately 10 minutes long.
Thanks! We work hard to put on a memorable experience for each and every guest. Everything that you see has been funded out of our own pockets from the love we have for Halloween.
Donations are gladly accepted in the donations box near our archway. You can find our logo on a variety of items on our redbubble page here and a (small) portion of every sale comes back to us to support the haunt.
Trade secrets! Just kidding. We are extremely transparent about our process and talk about it extensively on the Haunting U podcast. If you are a haunter or want to be, let us know and we can give you a behind-the-scenes peak of how we do things. If you want to learn more, check out the Haunting U podcast here.
All food donations are given to the Southern Maryland Food Bank to support fighting hunger in our local community. You can learn more about their work by visiting their website here.
